Since 2014 Gartner has been assessing the capabilities and competitive potential of the leading providers of advanced data analysis technologies. In this year’s Dell report, Statistica received the title of a leader in the Advanced Analytics Platforms Magic Quadrant. The strengths of the Statistica software that were emphasised included: extension of the Statistica’s rich functionality, the modernised interface and integration with the Big Data solution, additional visualisation tools and increased performance.
Among the traits distinguishing Statistica, Gartner pointed out to its aiming at the latest trends, such as Internet of Things (IoT), and the solution’s openness obtained thanks to integration with other solutions by Dell Software, e.g. Boomi, and external solutions, such as Hadoop.
